Mosaic work became a part of the artist's repertoire when his glass-topped garden table broke in a Galveston storm. His wife suggested that mosaic would be a nice replacement for the glass, and he set to work creating a festive design.
He now creates colorful mosaic crosses, trivets and wall hangings in addition to custom tables, house numbers and garden pavers.
